The following Terms & Conditions relate only to customers ordering online. Promotional offers that feature on our catalogues do not apply to online orders. Online products feature their own promotions.

Delivery Service

We aim to deliver your order direct to your door normally within 7 working days for items that are currently ‘in stock’but please allow up to 14 days before contacting the Careline on 0871 989 7958 (8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday). All items that are sent direct from the product manufacturer, heavy goods and any products requiring personalisation may take longer than 7 working days.

We cannot guarantee these delivery times for addresses in Northern Ireland, Eire, Scottish Highlands and Island addresses.

On the rare occasion that items or products are out of stock, we may send you a carefully chosen alternative of the same or higher quality and price. When your parcel arrives, please check all contents to ensure they are correct. If they are not, please contact our Customer Services Team on 0871 989 7958 who will rectify your problem with minimal fuss.

Any orders that you place will be shown on your invoice (included in the parcel). The invoice will also state items that have been previously delivered or to follow and these items will not be present in your parcel. Any items that you have not received (except exclusions above) but are present on your invoice should be queried as soon as possible but no later than 28 days following the date on your invoice. If you do not query a possible non-delivery of any item within this 28-day period, we will presume that the order was delivered complete.

While we do endeavour to ensure that your order will be delivered within 7 working days, we cannot accept liability for deliveries made outside of this period.

Delivery Charges

Please note, we reserve the right to charge £4.95 on each order placed. Heavy items carry an additional delivery charge and will be stated on the products information page and also at the checkout page. This additional charge will appear on your invoice instead of the £4.95.Please note: Couriers may need to obtain a signature as proof of delivery.

Returns

Every delivery comes with an invoice listing the items ordered. It is ESSENTIAL that you return this invoice when you return your parcel. DO NOT SEND PAYMENTS WITH RETURNED GOODS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Our Home Approval period is 28 days from receipt. Return of goods made by you outside of this period may not be accepted by us and may be returned by us to you at your expense. If, in our sole discretion, we decide to accept late return of goods from you we reserve the right to make a charge to cover the cost of processing the late return. Your statutory rights remain unaffected by this policy.

PRIZE DRAW RULES:

1. This prize draw is open to all customers over 18, who have been sent an entry form, except employees of the promoters, families, its agents and persons connected with the promotion.
2. Entry is free and not conditional upon placing an order, but it is limited to one per household.
3. Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of the rules and any other requirements set out in the promotional material.
4. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post.
5. The closing date of the prize draw is 31/12/08. The winner will be notified in writing by 14/01/09.
6. The decision of the judges is final and binding and no correspondence can be entered into.
7. The name and county of the winner will be available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Competition Secretary, Marketing Department, Express Gifts Limited, Church Bridge House, Henry Street, Accrington, Lancashire, BB5 4EE.
8. Winners will be required to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition including use of name, hometown and photograph.
9. The promoters are Express Gifts Limited, who may offer this promotion across other catalogues and promotions.

Important Notice – Home Approval Exceptions

Certain goods and service on our website are NOT sold on home approval. Goods subject to this exception include perishable goods, jewellery such as earrings, personalised merchandise and goods made to specification, cameras, camcorders, DVD’s, videotapes, CD’s, TV’s. Your statutory rights are not affected in any way by this policy.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

We want you to be 100% delighted with the products and services we provide that we guarantee to replace any product (that you have ordered from us) you are not completely satisfied with. Simply return the product during the 28 days home approval period in new condition. If, after purchase, any product gives unreasonable wear due to defective workmanship or materials, we should be able to replace, repair, or credit all or part of the purchase price. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you also have the right to cancel your order for any product APART from products clearly personalised which by reasons of their nature cannot be returned, jewellery such as earrings, products that deteriorate or expire rapidly, and, audio and video recordings.

If you exercise your statutory right to cancel and/or return any items for a refund you must do so using the original packaging and within the 28 day home approval period. If you cancel within the statutory period you may claim a refund of any sum you have paid concerning the goods. Unsuitable items must be returned at your own cost

Ordering Replacement Items

If you require a replacement or exchange item, please telephone our Call Centre Helpline on 0871 989 7958 between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday or 9am to 5pm Saturday and a replacement item will be arranged.

Price Policy

Every item is described as accurately as possible and represents our commitment to value for money. The correct price is that which is displayed on the website, at the time of your order, except if a pricing error is discovered or for reasons beyond our reasonable control, e.g., alterations to VAT. The correct price will be confirmed on your invoice enclosed with your order. If the correct price is higher than the price displayed on the website, please returns the goods in new condition within our 28 day approval period.

Availability

The goods featured on this website are only available to residents in the UK and Health and Home Shopping® will not accept orders from outside the UK.

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. All orders are accepted on the condition of English Law and the jurisdiction of the English Courts applies to all orders.
